What is ESS (Energy Storage System)?
- ESS is a power storage system that enables power consumers to act as power producers in activating new & renewable energy, including PV power generation.

In other words, it is a system that charges electricity produced through PV power generation to a battery, which is a storage device, and then discharges it when power is needed.

In addition, when ESS is connected to new & renewable power generation, it compensates for unstable output and improves power use efficiency.
- Overseas distributed microgrid

DGP is developing a microgrid EPC project worth 100 billion to 200 billion won. Microgrid is a small-scale smart grid, meaning a small-scale power system that is independent from a large-scale power system. DGP plans to use distributed microgrids to provide an independent power grid through PV and ESS to overseas areas where power grids are difficult to build.

DGP plant with 15,000 Pyung located at Okcheon-gun, Chungnam
Plant renovation and expansion work for ESS business and inverter development is scheduled to be completed in the second half of 2023.
DGP has secured machinery and software for the ESS business.
