Market status of EV chargers
- The Ministry of Environment announced in January that there were total 5,205 EV chargers nationwide (based on the zero-emission vehicle website as of the end of December 2022). As of 2022, the cumulative number of EVs sold nationwide was 390,000, and there were 0.6 chargers per 1 EV, which is still less than 1 charger per EV. The government announced that it will expand the number of chargers, including fast chargers, to 500,000 by 2025. However, the gap between charger and EV distribution rates has already occurred, so demand for chargers is expected to continue.
- Urban fuel cell convergence project

DGP is developing fast chargers and ultra-fast chargers to establish EV charging stations. Currently, we plan to participate as a major stockholder in the ‘Urban Fuel Cell Convergence Project’ together with SK Energy, LS Electric, and Samchully Asset Management, and will be responsible for supplying and maintaining PV EPC and EV chargers.
We are developing 100kW fast charger and plan to begin development of 350kW fast charger within this year.
In addition, we are designing an EV charger assembly line at our Okcheon plant.
